Last-Minute Yacht & Private Boat Catering in South Florida

Onboard chef service, day-charter platters and full provisioning for yachts and private charters out of Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach — often booked the same day.

Your Florida Chef caters yachts and private charter boats across South Florida, working out of Miami, Miami Beach, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Pompano Beach, Boca Raton and Palm Beach marinas.

This is the standard, non-kosher service line. Two formats cover almost every charter: dock-delivered spreads — crudité, charcuterie, sushi-style boxes, ceviche, composed salads, sliders, wraps and dessert — designed to hold in a small galley fridge all day; and onboard private chef service, where the chef sails with you and cooks and plates through the trip.

Boats book late. A charter confirmed at 9pm for a 10am departure is a normal request, and we plan sourcing and prep to fill same-day and next-morning orders across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach.

Menus are built for the reality of a boat: no fryers, limited burners, motion, sun, and guests eating over a long window instead of at one seating. Food arrives portioned, labeled and stable, with everything served cold or finished simply on board.

We cater day charters and sandbar trips, sunset cruises, birthday and bachelorette charters, corporate and client entertaining, multi-day cruises with full provisioning, and superyacht crew relief. Kosher charters are handled through a separate kosher service line.

    Common Questions About Our Services

Can I get last-minute catering for a yacht charter in Miami?

Yes. Your Florida Chef fills same-day and next-morning yacht catering orders across South Florida, delivered dockside to marinas in Miami, Miami Beach, Coconut Grove, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach, or served by a chef who sails with the charter.

How much does yacht catering cost in Florida?

Dock-delivered day-charter catering typically runs $65 to $150 per guest. Onboard private chef service generally runs $185 to $400 per guest depending on courses, guest count and trip length, plus a chef day rate for multi-day charters.

Should I hire an onboard chef or have food delivered to the dock?

Dock delivery suits day charters, sandbar trips and sunset cruises where guests graze. An onboard chef suits long days, overnight and multi-day charters, and trips where guests expect plated courses and fresh-cooked food.

What food works best on a boat?

Cold and room-stable food: ceviche and crudo, sushi-style boxes, charcuterie and cheese, crudité, grain and citrus salads, chilled shrimp, wraps, sliders and fruit. Fried food, delicate hot sauces and anything requiring precise plating are avoided.

    Do you provision multi-day charters?

Yes. We provision full multi-day charters with prepped meals, breakfast and snack stock, beverages, and clearly labeled heating and plating instructions for the crew, delivered to the boat before departure.

    Chef-Level Food

Chef Leo Rudnitsky cooks the same standard served at private South Florida dinners, adapted for the water.

    Marina Coverage End to End

Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach marinas, including early-morning and late-evening handoffs.

    Discretion Standard

Guest names, vessels and itineraries stay private.

    Onboard Chef vs. Dock-Delivered Catering

Dock-delivered catering is the right call for most day charters: guests eat over a long, unstructured window, the galley is small, and a well-built cold spread outperforms anything cooked underway. Onboard chef service earns its cost on longer trips — overnight and multi-day charters, crossings to Bimini or the Bahamas, and high-end entertaining where guests expect a plated lunch and a real dinner service. Your Florida Chef does both, and for a last-minute charter tomorrow morning, dock delivery is almost always the faster and better-executed option.

Dock-delivered spread, onboard chef, or provisioning for a multi-day trip.

    3

    Menu Locked

    4

    Dockside Handoff

Delivered to the slip on platters with labels, serving notes and ice as needed, before you cast off.
